I've done a little research on the internet and in my public library, and have found that I really like these little chelonia. Through my research, I have found that people really don't know as much about turtles and tortoises as they should before they purchase one of these cute little creatures at the pet shop. If you plan on owning one, please, please, PLEASE research their needs and requirements before you do buy!! It is very important that you understand all about what they need to live and live happily and healthily. Think about how you would feel if you were suddenly a "collectors item" and taken off of this planet to live in a cage as the pet of someone totally alien to you!! They won't know that you need to walk, swim, dig, dance. smile and cry. Unless, of course, they are out there...somewhere...learning about us first...hmmmmm... %-} |
